Marcus & Millichap completes sale of 68,774 s/f Stor u Self

Portland, CT Marcus & Millichap completed the sale of Stor U Self Storage, a 68,774 s/f self-storage facility, according to Grant Fitzgerald, regional manager of the firm’s Columbus office.

Nathan Coe, Brett Hatcher, and Gabriel Coe, investment specialists in Marcus & Millichap’s Columbus office, had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the seller, and they also secured the buyer in the transaction. Susan Bands, Connecticut broker of record, assisted in closing this transaction. Nathan Coe, the lead agent, said, “I’m excited to announce the sale of Stor U Self Storage. We had multiple offers within a couple weeks of listing and had a smooth and fast process to get to closing. I’m really happy for both groups and excited to see this facility continue to grow.”

Stor U Self Storage is located about 13 miles south of Hartford. The facility sits on over five acres of land and features 528 climate-controlled units, 122 non-climate-controlled units, and one commercial space totaling 68,774 net rentable s/f.
