Matthews of Matthews Commercial Props. brokers $1.9 million sale of 5-acre parcel

Gerry Matthews, principal of Matthews Commercial Properties, completed the sale of a five-acre parcel on Plank Rd. The parcel was purchased by the Catholic Cemetery Association for $1.9 million. Matthews represented the seller, Plank Road Plaza, LLC. Arnold Grant Associates represented Catholic Cemetery Association. In another transaction, Ed Godin, SIOR, a partner at Matthews Commercial Properties, brokered multiple leases totaling 14,500 s/f at Meriden Road Business Park in Wolcott. The new tenants are Discount Liquors (8,500 s/f), Above All Detailing (2,500 s/f) and FTS USA (3,500 s/f). The landlord is The Hurley Group, a local investment group with holdings throughout the state.
