Sterling, MA According to Maugel DeStefano Architects, the final phase of the Northgate Meadows Apartment development is now underway.
Designed for Whitney Companies of Leominster, Mass., Northgate Meadows is a multi-residential housing complex located on Meadows Dr., near the Leominster town line. The development comprises three podium-style buildings totaling 226 units. Each 106,000 s/f building includes four stories of residential living atop 26,500 s/f of structured parking.
The buildings feature a mix of one- and two-bedroom apartments offered at both market-rate and affordable housing rates. Each floor includes rentable storage and generous open spaces, with underground parking and amenities such as a dog grooming station to enhance resident comfort and convenience.
Phases I and II have been completed successfully. Phase III, now in the final design stage, is scheduled to begin construction in the fall of 2025.
“Northgate Meadows has been thoughtfully designed to accommodate a broad range of lifestyles and income levels while enhancing the quality of residential options in the Sterling-Leominster area,” said Mark Pelletier, principal at Maugel DeStefano Architects. “We look forward to entering the final phase of our successful collaboration with Whitney Companies as we help bring this much-needed residential community to completion.”
Strategically located just off Research Dr., the development offers access to Rte. 12 and I-190, making it an ideal location for commuters. All apartment homes are smart-home enabled and feature generous open floor plans designed with comfort and entertainment in mind.
