Maugel DeStefano Architects celebrate opening of first building at Vesa Apartments, Marlborough

Marlborough, MA According to Maugel DeStefano Architects, the first building at Vesa, a 140-unit apartment community, is now open. Serving as the architect of record, Maugel DeStefano collaborated with developer Procopio Companies, serving as construction manager, to bring this resident-focused community to life.

Located at 339 Boston Post Rd., Vesa expands the town’s housing base by offering modern, convenient, and comfortable living options. The development features three residential buildings with a mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments, each with a private outdoor deck or at-grade patio.

The design embraces a traditional aesthetic with an earthy material palette, blending urban sophistication with natural elements to create a welcoming retreat from the ordinary urban lifestyle. Residents will enjoy a wide range of amenities, including a fully equipped fitness center, a spacious club lounge, a resort-style outdoor pool deck, covered parking garages, a dedicated dog park, and nearby walking trails.

“It’s been a pleasure collaborating with the Procopio Team on this project,” said Mark Pelletier, principal at Maugel DeStefano Architects. “From the well-appointed apartments to the extensive amenities, every element was designed with residents in mind. We’re proud to deliver a community that genuinely enriches daily life for everyone who calls Vesa home.”

The project team includes Wozny/Barbar Associates (MEP/FP), H+O Structural Engineering (Structural), SLS Consulting (Code), Allen & Major (Civil/Landscape), and Cube 3 (Interior Design).
