Warwick Mobile

With the full opening of the Warwick Train Station - which RIAC recently announced has been named Interlink - expected within the next two months, the Department of Tourism, Culture and Development has expanded its marketing efforts to draw visitors and businesses alike to our community.
In an effort to encourage more visitors to explore the city, a new mobile website, warwickmobile.com, has been developed and is specifically geared for busy leisure and business travelers. Air and rail user whose phones have Internet access will be able to find local accommodations, dining and transportation options and information about Warwick easily and much more quickly than a traditional website on a mobile phone. From warwickmobile.com, all one has to do is click on the category for the service required and the site will provide the addresses, websites and phone numbers - which can be dialed by simply clicking on the phone number. A Google search of Warwick will show the mobile website, and ads on duratrans throughout the T.F. Green concourse will help to promote it as well.
A revamped tourism website (www.visitwarwickri.com), which links to our bridal site (www.warwickweddings.com), promotes Warwick as an attractive, convenient and affordable venue. The comprehensive listing provides all the information - including accommodations, photographers, catering, entertainment, and houses of worship, florists and transportation - needed to plan a wedding.
General- and audience-specific ads in local, regional and national publications, along with promotions on a number of websites like Trip Advisor, www.visitingnewengland.com, www.Brides.com and the Boston Globe, continue to help increase hotel occupancy rates, promote the city and lure new businesses here.
