McCall & Almy arranges 3,959 s/f expansion for Environments at Work

August 18, 2011 - Front Section
McCall & Almy has structured a 10-year lease extension at 300 A St. for Environments at Work. Environments at Work currently occupies 4,243 s/f within the facility, but increases in headcount and new projects demanded they seek additional workspace. McCall & Almy structured an agreement with the property's landlord that made a 3,959 s/f expansion possible, allowing Environments at Work to remain in its existing location.
This site offers an ideal mix of space and convenience, with proximity to Environments at Work's client base within the healthcare, corporate and academic markets.

300 A Street is situated near the Fort Point Channel within the South Boston Waterfront District.
The property is considered to be one of the highest quality brick and beam assets in the Seaport area. The build-out of its headquarters will be completed by December 2011, creating 8,202 SF of total office space in an attractive, flexible environment.
Focused exclusively on tenant representation and strategic planning, McCall & Almy's goal is to align each client's specific real estate needs with its unique business strategy and financial objectives. "McCall & Almy has been a trusted partner in our real estate activities for several years, and by leading the negotiation efforts to grow within 300 A Street, they've made it possible for us to remain in this premier location," said Ken Patrick, president of Environments at Work. "With a client base that is easily accessible from their centrally-located offices, we were pleased to find a solution allowing Environments at Work to acquire the additional space they need without sacrificing convenience," said Neil Schneider, executive vice president and principal at McCall & Almy.
Environments at Work was represented by Neil Schneider and Garrett Larivee of McCall & Almy, and the landlord, Brickman, was represented by Chris Cuddy and Peter Conlin of CB Richard Ellis.
