Kevin McCall, president and CEO of Paradigm Properties and its investment management affiliate, Paradigm Capital Advisors, has been named the recipient of the 2010 CEO Social Leader Award. The award, funded by the Grand Circle Foundation, provides $25,000 to a local CEO to be used for a social initiative.
McCall founded a nonprofit, Building Impact, in 2004 that partners with 14 building owners and managers to leverage their 60 buildings to increase civic engagement. Through Building Impact, many companies and their employees have discovered opportunities for community involvement in the areas of hunger and housing, job training, education, and youth at-risk. McCall also created the Development Services Group within Paradigm which provides real estate services to the nonprofit sector.
McCall will be honored at the Boston Business Journal's annual Corporate Citizenship Summit on September 10th, 2010 at the Boston Renaissance Hotel.

Through his philanthropic work, McCall has led by example and engaged many other companies and individuals in service, such as Treena Landers at Dassault Systèmes SolidWorks Corporation, "Building Impact has been a big help to us in making a more complete community giving program. The extra volunteering activities in house and in our communities bring us closer together as a team, but also as responsible citizens.
