McKenzie, Lipscomb and Weller of Transwestern | RBJ handle 26,784 s/f on behalf of National Development

Transwestern | RBJ brokered three leases on behalf of National Development at MetroNorth Corporate Center, located at 120 and 150 Presidential Way, 12 miles northwest of Boston. The leases, totaling 26,784 s/f, bring the buildings to more than 95% occupancy. Transwestern | RBJ partners Brian McKenzie and James Lipscomb, along with leasing associate Kirk Weller, represented the building ownership. ExamWorks Inc. leased 16,993 s/f at 150 Presidential Way. The independent medical examination services provider was represented by CBRE/New England. YASH Technologies, a leading technology services and outsourcing partner for global companies, renewed a 4,074 s/f lease at 150 Presidential Way. The company was represented internally. Eastern Real Estate LLC, a privately held commercial real estate firm, renewed its lease for 5,717 s/f at 120 Presidential Way. The company was represented internally. "MetroNorth Corporate Center is one of the premier office parks in Greater Boston, which is reflected in its high occupancy rate and recommitments by Eastern Real Estate and YASH Technologies," said McKenzie. "ExamWorks is a welcome addition to the diverse roster of existing tenants." In addition to 120 and 150 Presidential Way, National Development owns a build-to-suit site in MetroNorth Corporate Center that can accommodate up to 200,000 s/f of office space. Transwestern | RBJ is the exclusive leasing agent for National Development in the park. MetroNorth Corporate Center is part of a 1.2 million s/f, master-planned campus. The park's amenities include a 149-room Marriott Residence Inn; a 32,500 s/f, full-service Boston Sports Club; a full-service cafeteria; shower/locker room facilities; and numerous nearby restaurants and convenience retail businesses. Served by a new interchange off I-93, MetroNorth Corporate Center is strategically located in the Rte. 128 North submarket with direct access to I-93 and Rte. 128/I-95, as well as high visibility from I-93. The area is also served by the Anderson/Woburn Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority Commuter Rail Station with service to Boston and Lowell, as well as the Logan Express bus service to Logan International Airport. The Rte. 128 North submarket consists of 26 million s/f of office space, which was 15.8% vacant at the end of first quarter 2014, according to research by Transwestern | RBJ.
