Meet the BSA Members - Emily Grandstaff-Rice

Emily Grandstaff-Rice, AIA, LEED AP holds both NCARB and NCIDQ certificates. She joined Cambridge Seven Associates in 2003 after gaining experience with various firms in New York and Boston and receiving degrees from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. At Cambridge Seven, she has distinguished herself as part of the design team and architect in charge of construction administration for the Boston Children's Museum, C7A's first LEED accredited project. Grandstaff-Rice is familiar with the material selection and documentation needed to complete the USGBC LEED certification. In addition to her work at C7A, Grandstaff-Rice is involved with the American Institute of Architects. She serves nationally on the AIA continuing wducational quality assurance panel, AIA Young Architects Forum advisory committee, and locally as the Boston Society of Architects membership committee co-chair. As an advocate of architectural education, she has volunteered and developed two K-12 architecture programs, administers the in-house AIA continuing education program and speaks at local and national AIA conventions.
