Beverly, MA In a long-planned evolution of the firm, Meridian Associates, Inc. has named John Ings, PE as president and CEO of the employee-owned firm. Ings joined Meridian in 2011. He most recently has served as Meridian’s vice president of engineering. 

Meridian provides integrated land survey, civil/site design, landscape architecture, 3D-laser scanning, and aerial and mobile light detection and ranging (LiDAR) services to public and private clients, and through prime consultants, construction management and general contractor partners across Mass. Ings succeeds engineering industry veteran Doug Reed, PE, who joined Meridian as its CEO in 2019.
