Methuen Construction Company, Inc., Summit Metal Fabricating and Methuen Construction Facility Services breaks ground on $8 million new facility

Methuen Construction Company, Inc., Summit Metal Fabricating and Methuen Construction Facility Services are moving from Salem, NH to a 178,000 s/f facility on 35 acres in the late spring of 2016. Methuen held a ground breaking ceremony in July. As part of the planned move, they will be demolishing part of the existing structure. The existing building is 170,000 s/f, they will demolish 20,000 s/f and add back another 30,000 s/f for a grand total of 180,000 s/f. Expected renovation cost is $8 million All new heating, ventilation, air conditioning, electrical, paving, landscaping, fire protection and gas lines are part of the renovations and new construction. Summit Metal Fabricators will greatly benefit from the added shop space and overhead cranes. This will allow for additional fabrication services such as large modular fabrications, process skid fabrication & assembly, pre-fabricated pipe racks, pedestrian walkways and more.
