Metrowest Commercial Real Estate, Gordon RE and RW Holmes handle $695,000 office building sale

Framingham, MA Representing the seller, Marlene Aron, senior broker, Metrowest Commercial Real Estate and Jonathan Gordon, Gordon RE completed the sale of 211 Cochituate Rd., a 3,514 s/f multi-tenanted office building.

Aron had sold 211 Cochituate to the present owner in 2001 and Gordon RE has done the office leasing at the property for many years. The two firms collaborated to make sure the seller was able to close in 2021 to avoid the possibility of an increase in the capital gains tax in 2022.

The buyer, a local law firm, was represented by Craig Johnston, RW Holmes and the selling price was $695,000.

Aron said, “The property sold within one week with competitive bidding. The new owners will be moving their law practice into the building after renovations. Their firm specializes in special needs advocacy with many services offered for free. The location, Rte. 30 signage and available first floor space made 211 Cochituate Rd. a perfect fit.”
