Millennium Partners’ director of social impact and inclusion honored with NAIOP Massachusetts 2020 President’s Award

Boston, MA According to Millennium Partners Boston, Taidgh McClory, the company’s director of social impact and inclusion, has been awarded the NAIOP Massachusetts 2020 President’s Award for his pioneering efforts in implementing diversity and inclusion strategies within the commercial real estate industry. The annual award recognizes exceptional leadership, strategic direction and progressive vision in advancing NAIOP’s diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) efforts. With McClory’s support, NAIOP has been able to strengthen industry DEI efforts by implementing programming that expands opportunities for minority and women-owned CRE businesses. 

Formerly the managing director and partner at CBRE New England, McClory actively promotes diversity and inclusion through civic engagement and his business, T.H. McClory, LLC, a social impact enterprise founded in 2019 and dedicated to creating and implementing diversity and inclusion strategies for the CRE industry. As the director of social impact and inclusion for Millennium Partners, McClory has implemented the economic inclusion & opportunity initiative for the developer’s forthcoming 691-foot, mixed-use tower, Winthrop Center, developing strategies that support workforce development and supplier diversity and that broaden access to network relationships among people of color and women in the commercial real estate industry. 

Millennium Partners Boston’s vision is to facilitate meaningful change in the real estate development industry by building a diverse cohort of construction workers, professionals, capital partners and investors. Acknowledging the disparity in economic opportunities available to under-represented populations in Boston and across the commercial real estate industry, Millennium Partners Boston authored a Memorandum of Understanding in 2017 with The City of Boston to promote economic inclusion throughout the entire lifecycle of the development.
