My Montessori leases 5,000 s/f of classroom space from Cummings Properties

Cummings Properties welcomed new client My Montessori of Woburn, which opened at 100 TradeCenter in September. Converting traditional office space into warm, welcoming Montessori classrooms was a challenge for Cummings Properties designers, said leasing director Rob Yacobian. So was the shortened production schedule, which had designers and construction crews working diligently to get the space ready for the first day of school. "It was a big project, and we had about half the usual time to get it done," Yacobian said. "My Montessori needed everything completed in time to hire staff and hold open houses." Puja Jain of Lexington, owner of My Montessori, said, "It was a blessing working with Cummings Properties. When they started, the space was just a blank slate, and now people say it has so much warmth. The school never would have happened without them." My Montessori, occupying more than 5,000 s/f of classroom and playground space, is located on the campus of TradeCenter 128.
