NAI Hunneman brokers two sales totaling $8.44 million

NAI Hunneman has brokered the sales of 1 Jewel Dr. in Wilmington and 225 Wildwood Ave. in Woburn, valued at $4.1 and $4.34 million respectively. Brokers David Ross, executive vice president/principal, David Gilkie, senior vice president, and Gina Barroso, sales associate, represented Hudson Advisors, the seller at 1 Jewel Dr., and procured the buyer, Howland Development. Gilkie and NAI Hunneman vice president Mike McCarthy have also been awarded the exclusive leasing assignment for the building. The building is currently 55% leased. 1 Jewel Dr. is comprised of four interconnected one and two-story office, R&D and warehouse buildings totaling 200,000 s/f of space. Gilkie represented the buyer, Janis Research Company LLC, at 225 Wildwood Ave., in Woburn. The class B warehouse space, sold by Murray Hills Inc., is located along the Rte. 128 corridor. The building is 68,000 s/f with space for further expansion. The building is currently 100%leased. "We are continuing to see a high level of diverse interest in suburban markets, particularly along the Interstate 93 North corridor and Route 128," said Gilkie. "Companies including those in the life sciences, defense and technology sectors are showing no signs of a slowing interest. The location and quality of these buildings makes them outstanding investments for both Howland Development and Janis Research."
