What Your Firm Does Now and Its Plans for the Future: VGBN is a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote green building in Vermont. We are the local Chapter of the US Green Building Council, and we offer educational and networking opportunities, as well as resources and advocacy supporting green building practices. We look to partner with like-minded organizations to create a stronger voice for environmentally responsible building.
What is the biggest green change you would like to see happen in your industry over the next 10 years: That we no longer have to distinguish a "green" building from a "conventional" building....ALL buildings will be extremely energy efficient, utilize materials and construction practices that don't degrade the environment, and are healthy, enjoyable, and affordable places to live and work.
