IREM Greater Rhode Island chapter hosted its first 2008 monthly meeting at the Twelve Acres Restaurant. The special guest speaker was IREM national president, Regina Mullins, CPM, CCIM. With more than 23 years of industry experience, she is vice president, commercial real estate management, Cafritz Company, Washington, DC.
Mullins shared the positive impact IREM has had on her career and her achieving one of her goals as the IREM national president. Additional topics included technology, risk management, business competition, workforce development, trends, education and IREM National's 75th anniversary.
Mullins also had the honor of installing the newest Accredited Residential Managers (ARM), Dianna Saunders from The Simon Companies and Jason Martins from Phoenix Property Management, Inc.
