Nauset Construction was selected by Radius Specialty Hospital for the renovation and conversion of the Long Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH) at Quincy Medical Center. The 20,700 s/f, 38-bed private room project began in the spring. Nauset Construction teamed with project architect, David Dunlap Associates, as well as valued partners within the local subcontractor community.

The multi-phased, fast-track project included renovating and converting an entire floor within Quincy Medical Center on an aggressive two month schedule. The renovation included upgrades to both the electrical and HVAC systems. Patient rooms and common areas also received new upgrades and finishes. Nauset reconfigured existing spaces and installed new partitions, walls, ceilings, floors, doors and lighting throughout the patient and medical staff areas. New corridor upgrades including lighting and handrails were also part of construction. Other amenities include a new rehabilitation therapy area, staff kitchen, administrative offices and storage rooms.
