NE Construction accepted into CHASE program

February 09, 2010 - Rhode Island
New England Construction has been accepted into the Construction Health And Safety Excellence (CHASE) program. CHASE is a partnership program sponsored by Associated General Contractors (AGC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), which is dedicated to fostering a shared, mutual commitment to the construction safety process.
The AGC/OSHA CHASE Program requires a commitment to a strong safety program and an outstanding safety record and provides AGC-member contractors incentives for demonstrating the highest safety standards and practices used in the construction industry. "We've experienced tremendous growth over the last couple of years," said New England Construction president John Pignataro. "Our investment in a best in class safety program was an absolute must and we're proud to be in partnership with the AGC and OSHA."
New England Const. is committed to a safe workplace for our clients, employees and subcontractors. New England Construction's director of Safety, Brian Hoxie, manages the ongoing safety program, which includes weekly safety meetings, regular site inspections, employee trainings, job hazard analysis and self-audits. "Safety is our highest priority," said Hoxie. "Our goal is not only to prevent injuries, but to exceed expectations by maintaining a zero injury policy."
New England Const. is a 25 year old company founded and headquartered in Rumford. New England Construction provides construction services to a wide variety of customers.
