NECA contractors attend solar workshop presented by Smith of American Solar Ptrs.

In addressing the growing Massachusetts solar market, on October 4, NECA Boston Chapter hosted a solar workshop presented by Lee Smith, principal of prominent solar developer American Solar Partners. The session provided an overview of all aspects of PV projects - site evaluation, design and installation, solar panels, inverters, PV metering, grid interconnection, net metering, funding - Federal Tax Credits, and Massachusetts CEC rebates and tax credits. NECA contractors attending included Averill Electric, Bent Electrical Contractors, Coghlin Electrical Contractors, E.G. Sawyer Company, McDonald Electrical Corp., and Whelan & Denehy.
