NEREJ begins 50th year, from newspaper to media company

It was a cold January evening in 1963 when I pasted (using real paste) the final headline into the thin 12 page first edition of the New England Real Estate Journal. Little did I realize at the time that I was creating a "Social Network" in print for commercial real estate, similar to what Facebook would do for the world many years later on internet. I have seen many innovations over my 50 years of experience marketing commercial real estate. I'm proud to announce our personal transition from being a weekly newspaper to a full blown media company through our new NEREJ Tech division - www.nerejtech.com. Social Media and the web have provided us this enormous opportunity to lead our loyal clients into the ever growing technological 21st century. NEREJ Tech, our fully staffed, well trained division (almost the size of our original newspaper staff) is here to serve the commercial real estate industry for the next 50 years. Contact us anytime for a free consultation. Stay tuned... Roland Hopkins is the founder of the New England Real Estate Journal, Norwell, Mass.
