Nesson of Press/Cuozzo sells 5,400 s/f building for $500,000

According to Stephen Press, SIOR, co-principal of Press/Cuozzo Commercial Services, Joel Nesson, senior commercial advisor, has sold 254 State St., a turn-of-the-century brick structure located near the corner of Crown St. The building, three-stories and approximately 5,400 s/f, is close to downtown restaurants and situated in a transit-oriented location. It has been extensively remodeled on the exterior and the roof was raised and replaced in order to accommodate a full height on the third floor. The property had been approved for mixed use allowing the owner use of the property as both a residence and commercial use. Nesson of Press/Cuozzo Commercial Services represented the seller, Mark Potter, Jr., while Susan Frew of Betsy Grauer Realty represented the buyers, Robert and Rosamund Storr. The sale price of the property was $500,000. Press/Cuozzo Realtors, with offices at 2751 Dixwell Ave., Hamden and 975 State St., New Haven, has been serving the greater New Haven area since 1990.
