New associate Tamposi joins Avison Young's Boston office

According to Michael Smith, Avison Young principal and managing director of the company's Boston office, Lou Tamposi has joined the firm. Effective immediately, Tamposi joins Avison Young as an Associate, focusing on tenant and landlord representation in the downtown office market. Utilizing his leadership skills, client relationships and entrepreneurial experience, Tamposi will service existing key clients and assist in business development while working alongside Avison Young principal Karyn McFarland, and Matt Twombly and Justin Dziama, vice-presidents in the Boston office. "As we continue our plan for strategic growth, we are excited to welcome Lou to the Boston office," said Smith. "His previous entrepreneurial success will make him a valuable addition to an already strong downtown team." Prior to joining Avison Young, Tamposi was the co-founder and director of sales and business development for Inkmule, LLC, an online custom apparel and promotional company. He has also worked as an English teacher with Teach for America, where he taught 100 seventh-grade students. "We are pleased to welcome Lou to the downtown brokerage team," said McFarland. "Lou's self-motivated work ethic, communication skills and entrepreneurial mindset complement our team perfectly." Tamposi received his Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Entrepreneurial Leadership from Tufts University, and completed the Dartmouth Business Bridge program at the Tuck School of Business. He was also captain of the Tufts Swim Across America team, raising more than $25,000 for cancer research. "I am excited to be a part of the dynamic Avison Young team," says Tamposi. "Working alongside industry innovators such as Karyn, Matt and Justin will provide me with a great opportunity to learn from some of the best in the industry."
