New England CCIM chapter January president’s message

Dave Gambaccini

Happy New Year and greetings to our members, candidates, sponsors, and friends of the New England CCIM Chapter!

It’s hard to believe a new decade has begun. The start of the new year gives us an opportunity to look back over the last 10 years and appreciate our professional and personal challenges and accomplishments. I’m excited for what this year will bring as 2020 will set the stage for the decade to come, a decade that will be filled with more challenges and even greater accomplishments. Together we will all have the opportunity to share in and celebrate each other’s success.

I am humbled and proud to serve as your chapter president for 2020 and it wouldn’t be possible without your support and participation. As I’ve traveled to other parts of the country, met other chapters and their boards, I sincerely believe we have something special with our New England Chapter – and that’s a testament to you, our members.

We have an outstanding 2020 board of directors and we are working hard to help you prepare for the ever-changing future of our industry. Our goal for the New England Chapter is the same as the CCIM Institute’s goal which is to serve our members in the areas of networking, education and technology. By providing these resources, we can help you to be better at your job, help you to make more money and hopefully have more fun doing it.

We had a very successful CI 102 Course in Manchester, NH in 2019, as well as a successful Intro Course in Boston, both which created a lot of excitement for new candidates in the chapter. I encourage everyone to pay close attention to the upcoming courses in 2020, share them with your coworkers and consider attending the networking events. These events are fantastic opportunities to meet new candidates and harness their enthusiasm as they learn more about CCIM and our industry.

We are still finalizing the courses and events for this year and we are certainly open to suggestions and ideas from the chapter. If you think there’s something we could offer or improve upon or if you’d like to participate on the Board, please contact me.

Here’s to a prosperous New Year! Thank you for your support.

Cheers!

Dave Gambaccini, CCIM, is the 2020 president of the New England Chapter of CCIM.
