New England COnstruction opens regional office in Burlington and appoints Guilmet
New England Construction (NEC) has opened a regional office located at Burlington Mall Rd., and has appointed Michael Guilmet as vice president.
"As we continue to expand our geographic presence in Greater Boston and Northern New England, we felt that it was vital to invest in a physical location to further solidify our existing relationships with key clients, as well as cultivate new relationships with a potential client base, architects, engineers and developers in the Massachusetts marketplace," said John Pignataro, president & COO.
Guilmet, PE, LEED AP, joined NEC to lead the strategic business development effort in the Boston market. As a member of New England Construction's executive management team, Guilmet will assist in developing key client accounts and relationships in the Massachusetts market in alignment with the organization's strategic business plan. He has more than 30 years of construction industry experience and brings technical expertise with building and site design, site permitting, land development, feasibility and due diligence analysis, construction administration, structural investigations, building code and land development regulation to the New England Construction team.
Guilmet is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), the Boston Association of Structural Engineers (BASE), and the Structural Engineers Association of Massachusetts (SEAMASS).
