New England Development to open two stores totaling 6,650 s/f at Chestnut Hill Square

Chestnut Hill, MA According to New England Development, two new stores, Serena & Lily and Lunette Optic, will open at Chestnut Hill Square, a lifestyle destination on Rte. 9 early next year. 

A California-based home and lifestyle company, Serena & Lily is noted for its combination of California style with great design. The 5,275 s/f design store - the first in Massachusetts - will feature samples of every style from Serena & Lily’s signature bedding, original textiles, wallpaper, rug collections and a curated assortment of furniture, lighting, outdoor furniture, upholstery and décor, including a rotating gallery of original art.  

“We’re thrilled to welcome Serena & Lily to Chestnut Hill Square,” said Manny Steiner, vice president of leasing for New England Development.  He added, “The center offers a powerful blend of fashion, fitness and food, making this a truly unique destination in Chestnut Hill and the ideal location for both Serena & Lily and Lunette Optic.”  

Lunette Optic, founded by co-owners Ted Mogtader and Michelle Rahimian, is known throughout Boston for its exclusive eye-wear, craftsmanship and superior service.  The 1,350 s/f boutique will feature the latest contemporary designer eyewear in and around Boston area. This store will be their first location in Boston’s western suburbs.   

Serena & Lily and Lunette Optic join Chestnut Hill Square’s stores and restaurants and the area’s dominant gourmet grocer, upscale fitness club, and first-class medical office space. Tenants, many of which are new to this market, include:
Wegmans, Equinox, Anthropologie/BHLDN, Free People, SoulCycle, Seasons 52, sweetgreen, The Capital Grille, and many more.
