A freestanding Barnes & Noble in the West Farms Mall section was purchased by Raymour & Flanigan Properties, LLC. The property consists of a 21,600 s/f building. Barnes & Noble will continue to operate in the property as they have for the past twenty years.
The buyer was represented by Matt Halprin, principal of New England Retail Properties, Inc., a Wethersfield, Conn. retail real estate brokerage firm. The seller was represented by LA Drinkwater and Seth Richards of Marcus & Millichap (Boston and New York offices).
