New England Retail Properties breaks ground on two projects

Ipswich, MA New England Retail Properties, through its subsidiaries, has broken ground on two new retail projects in Mass.  The first one in Ipswich, is for the construction of a brand new 7,225 s/f O’Reilly Auto Parts. The freestanding store is located on Rte. 1 (Turnpike Rd.) and will join Tractor Supply and Galleria Stone and Tile in the development.  O’Reilly Auto Parts is a national automobile parts store with over 4,500 stores throughout the country.  According to Matthew Darling, agent for New England Retail Properties, Inc., DMB Construction is the general contractor for the project.

The second development is a Tractor Supply store being constructed on Rte. 109 in Millis.  The store will be 19,000 s/f with a 15,000 s/f fenced outdoor display area. This area of Massachusetts has been targeted for some time by the retailer due to the large number of Tractor Supply customers living nearby. WR Newman will be the general contractor for this development. Mark D’Addabbo, president of New England Retail Properties, Inc.  negotiated the lease with the tenant, Tom Moriarty, Esq. represented his firm in both the acquisition and lease negotiations.  The store is expected to open in Q4 of this year.
