New Hampshire CIBOR names Slattery of Phoenix Realty as Realtor of the Year: NHAR Convention to be held September 11-14 in Portsmouth

August 04, 2011 - Northern New England

Arthur Slattery, Phoenix Realty Group

Arthur Slattery, founder of Phoenix Realty Group, has been selected as the Realtor of the Year for the New Hampshire Commercial Investment Board of Realtors (NHCIBOR), according to Tom Duffy, past president.
Slattery has been a Realtor for over 32 years. He has served as president of the New Hampshire Association or Realtors, the New Hampshire Commercial Investment Division and NH CIBOR. He served for several years as a national director of the National Association of Realtors and 13 years on the NH Real Estate Commission as commissioner with 10 of those years as chairman. Slattery has been extensively quoted in regional trade journals and taught real estate classes at Dartmouth, Northeastern and local Realtor events.
After making the announcement, Duffy explained that the board's judges made their selection after considering the records of all contenders for the honor. The basis of the judgment, he said, was the contribution of the Realtor to the betterment of the community life, and his conduct of business reflecting the Code of Ethics of the National Association of Realtors.
NH CIBOR plans to submit the name and record of their Realtor of the Year in the New Hampshire Association of Realtors statewide competition for the state Realtor of the Year, where all board ROTYs are recognized at the the NH Association of Realtors 50th Fall Convention. This years convention, Sept. 11-14, will be held at the Sheraton Portsmouth Harborside.
