Bedford, MA Newmark Knight Frank (NKF) completed a 147,371 s/f lease extension to Novanta, Inc. at 125 Middlesex Tpke. NKF executive managing directors Rich Ruggiero, Torin Taylor and Matthew Adams, along with senior managing director Rory Walsh, associate Ross Gaudet and brokerage services specialist Liz McNeill represented ownership, 125 Middlesex Turnpike LLC c/o Mohawk Partners, LLC. 

Built in 1975 and rehabbed in 2009, 125 Middlesex Tpke. is a class A, 147,371 s/f, single-story, flex/manufacturing building featuring 75,000 s/f of office space. Novanta, a supplier of laser products, precision-motion and vision technologies, has occupied 125 Middlesex since 2008 and employing more than 400 people. The firm signed a long-term extension at the property, which serves as corporate headquarters. 

Formerly GSI Group, Inc., Novanta was founded in 1968 and designs, develops, manufactures and sells precision photonic and motion control components and subsystems.
