NextSun Energy completes it's 4.99MW solar project located on half a million s/f of roof and 5 acres of land

NextSun Energy developed, financed, and constructed its 4.99MW solar project. The project was built in less than 5 months, covers more than half a million s/f of roof and 5 acres of land, and is the largest rooftop solar array in the state. The project made sense because of NextSun's ability to monetize both federal and state incentives, and bring together the full capital stack of the project. On April 25 the MA Department of Energy Resources releases their second MA Solar program, which favors rooftop solar projects.
