Nitsch Engineering celebrates 20th anniversary

Nitsch Engineering celebrated their 20th anniversary on September 15th and commemorated the day with a party for their entire employee team. Over the course of the next year, Nitsch Engineering will continue to celebrate the milestone anniversary by honoring their mantra, "Building better communities with you": the company will host or participate in a series of events that help improve their communities. Information on these events is on the company's home page; detailed information will be added as the dates get closer. Since the company's founding in 1989, Nitsch Engineering has grown from a one-person civil engineering company into the largest Women-owned Business Enterprise (WBE) civil engineering firm in Massachusetts. In addition, the company has expanded to provide land surveying, transportation engineering, sustainable site consulting, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and planning services. President and Founder Judith Nitsch, PE, LEED AP, said, "When I started Nitsch Engineering in 1989, in the midst of another recession, many people didn't think that a company like ours would flourish. But thanks to our wonderful projects, terrific clients, and fabulous employees, we've been able to grow into a successful, respected company with projects in 17 states and five countries." Vice president and COO, Lisa. Brothers, PE, LEED AP said, "We know that these past 20 years are just the beginning and look forward to continuing our growth over the next 20 years ... and further into the future!"
