UNH Holloway Commons Dining Hall - Durham, NH
Durham, NH North Branch Construction has completed nearly $6 million in major hyper-track renovations to the UNH Holloway Commons Dining Hall this summer in preparation of a grand re-opening to students as they returned for the fall semester on August 28.
This 30,000 s/f structural steel job included the removal of roof systems over existing finished space. Other work included structural steel additions to multiple sides of the building, new HVAC systems, a new dishwashing and tray return area, a new grill area, and a new entryway. The new layout offers an improved circulation pattern.
North Branch continues the construction of two seating areas and elevators to be complete early 2016. Design for the project is provided by Miller Dyer Spears, Inc.
