O'Brien of Randall named 2012 KWAOR Realtor of the Year

Cecelia O'Brien, Randall, Realtors Real Living in Charlestown

According to the Kent Washington Association of Realtors, Cecelia O'Brien of Randall, Realtors Real Living in Charlestown is 2012 KWAOR Realtor of the Year. She currently serves on the board of directors for both the Kent Washington Association of Realtors and the Rhode Island Association of Realtors, is past chair of the KWAOR Realtors political action committee, past co-chair of the RIAR Realtors political action committee, and has served with distinction on numerous other committees for the Kent Washington Association.
In cooperation with agents from other Randall offices, O'Brien founded and has been the driving force behind Randall, Realtors Helping Hands, which raises money and resources to support local nonprofits working to meet critical needs in Southern Rhode Island communities. Among those organizations helped are the Pawcatuck Neighborhood Center, Domestic Violence Resource Center, Waterford Country School and the Frosty Drew Nature Center. Cely is the recipient of the KWAOR Good Neighbor Award for 2011 and a nominee for the 2012 Realtor Magazine Good Neighbor Award. For the last two years, she has been named a Five Star Real Estate Professional by Rhode Island Monthly. She also has earned the Real Living Premier Service Diamond Award for the past four years.
She has been a sales agent with Randall, Realtors Real Living for the past eight years. She often serves as a mentor for new agents in her office. She and her husband Jim O'Brien form The O'Brien Team.
O'Brien is one of five nominees for 2012 Rhode Island State Realtor of the Year. The winner will be announced at the Rhode Island Association's of Realtors Annual Installation of Officers and Directors on October 25.
