May 20, 2016 - Connecticut

Farmington, CT The OFS Corp.  metal restoration team helped with post-construction site touch-up of trim and windows in the UConn Health Center facility’s new bed tower. The OFS onsite crew also cleaned up stains, tarnish and environmental damage.

Other areas that needed metalwork and touch ups included a meeting room and two connectors that serve as walkways between towers. Patient rooms had metal window frames that also needed cleaning.

In this case, OFS was able to put the finishing touches on this piece of construction. OFS was pleased to be included in this project.

OFS Corp., founded in 1987, is a family-owned business. When they started, the “OFS” stood for “Office Furniture Services,” and they were focused on providing onsite furniture fixes such as scratch repairs, refinishing, and touch-up. By 1990, they expanded their service area throughout Southern New England.

In the years since, OFS has expanded its services to include metal restoration and in-shop architectural wood finishing, and we now work out of two 6,000 s/f facilities in South Windsor.
