O’Leary, Lien and Gratton of Cushman & Wakefield represent Duffy Properties in 50,578 s/f lease

lexington, MA Cushman & Wakefield represented Duffy Properties in its lease of 45 Hartwell Ave. The 50,578 s/f building, has been leased by Brammer Bio, LLC, a contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO). The space will be used for Brammer Bio’s operations team.

Cushman & Wakefield’s senior vice president Michael O’Leary, vice president Kate Lien and executive managing director Duncan Gratton represented Duffy Props. in the transaction, while CBRE senior vice president and partner Curtis Cole and vice president Alex Plaisted represented Brammer Bio.

“After its recent merger, Brammer Bio needed a space that would allow it to continue recruiting new clients and build relationships with existing clients,” said Steve Duffy, principal of Duffy Props. “I look forward to watching as Brammer Bio continues to meet the development and manufacturing needs of the cell and gene therapy market from this location.” 

Situated just 20 miles from downtown Boston, 45 Hartwell Ave. is near Rtes. 4 and 255 off Rte. 128, with access to I-93 and the Mass. Pike. It is near Hanscom Air Force Base, with area amenities including the Burlington Mall, Boston Sports Club and many restaurants. The property is the former home of Synta Pharmaceuticals.

“Lexington has become a biotech hub in recent years, making it a fitting home for Brammer Bio’s operations team,” O’Leary said. “This location’s proximity to Boston and Kendall Square will allow Brammer Bio to easily connect with clients in both the city and the suburbs.”
