According to the Stamford office of international design and architecture firm Perkins Eastman, Carl Ordemann, AIA will lead the office as managing principal. The recently appointed Ordemann will join principal Mark van Summern and the leadership teams of the Stamford architectural studios to continue the momentum and reputation for design excellence established in the region.
Ordemann, a principal and studio leader at Perkins Eastman for more than seven years, serves as a principal and executive director and has managed the design of more than 30 million s/f of new construction and 40 million s/f of interior alterations. With more than 20 years of local experience in Connecticut and as a studio leader for the New York office's corporate and commercial studio, Ordemann leads large teams in producing corporate, commercial, residential, and government architecture and interiors.
He is a member of the American Institute of Architects' New York City Chapter (AIANYC), the Real Estate Board of New York, the Urban Land Institute, and CoreNet Global. Ordemann is also NCARB Certified. He is a graduate of City College of New York. Ordemann is a licensed architect registered in Conn., Mass., N.Y., Del., Md., N.J., Nev., N.C., Penn., Tenn., and Va.
