Gaston's hire exhibits Maplewood's continuing commitment to expand its high quality staff of senior professionals who are dedicated to providing first class care to their residents. Gaston's 16 years of experience in the assisted living business combined with a superior development and acquisition track record will complement Maplewood's growth strategy.

Gaston brings 16 years of senior housing experience and 25 years in real estate. Before joining Maplewood, Gaston was vice president at Benchmark Assisted Living in Wellesley, Mass., the largest senior housing operator in New England and the eleventh biggest in the U.S. As a senior member of the Investments Group for two and a half years, he oversaw development and acquisition of new projects. Before that, Gaston was a partner of Northbridge Assisted Living.
