Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) completes the long-term lease of 27,500 s/f of first class office space to Nuance Communications, Inc. at 675 Massachusetts Ave. Nuance will occupy two full floors in the 14-story office building owned by Intercontinental Real Estate Corp.
Intercontinental was represented by JLL executive vice presidents John Osten and Peter Bekarian, and vice president Daniel Kollar. Nuance was represented by Newmark Grubb Knight Frank senior managing director Ryan Weber.
Nuance vice president, global real estate and facilities Ed Zielinski said, "We are delighted with the location and amenities at 675 Mass. Ave., and will be making world class improvements to the facility. This prime Central Sq. location between Harvard and Kendall Sq. offers proximity to top technical talent coming out of the university community."
Occupancy is scheduled for this fall following interior construction. Nuance is moving from its current location at 17 Dunster St. The company's worldwide headquarters is located in Burlington.

675 Mass. Ave. is a 127,615 s/f first class office building that adjoins 130 Bishop Allen Dr. to form 200,000 s/f Central Plaza. It features a modern design, finishes, walkway, and panoramic views of the Charles River, Harvard University, MIT and the Boston skyline. A significant capital improvements program including lobby renovations is now underway.
Other tenants in 675 Mass. Ave. include Harmonix Music Systems, ETEX and Workbar.
