Ozzy Props. signs Mentor Network to 13,500 s/f at Osgood Landing
According to Ozzy Properties, The Mentor Network has signed a lease at Osgood Landing which will bring approximately 50 jobs to North Andover over the coming year and additional jobs in the future.
The Mentor Network, headquartered in Boston, is a human services organization that provides an array of quality life-enhancing services to adults and children with intellectual and developmental disabilities, at-risk youth and their families and individuals with brain, spinal cord and other catastrophic illnesses and injuries. The Mentor Network will use the Osgood Landing site to provide administrative support services to program offices and will not provide direct services.
According to Ellen Keller, vice president of commercial real estate for Ozzy Properties, The Mentor Network will occupy 13,500 s/f of space in an area formerly occupied by Lucent Technologies' engineering and administrative departments. Construction is expected to start soon with a target occupancy date of November.
"The Mentor Network will be joining a thriving community in a space where they can continue to grow if they wish," said Keller.
Osgood Landing is an office and manufacturing complex made up of nearly two million s/f. Ozzy Properties acquired the half-century old building in 2003 and is in the process of reconfiguring it for multi-tenant use.
