Scarborough, ME The Beacon at Gateway, an apartment community located at the corner of Haigis Parkway and Payne Rd., welcomes Amanda Peltzman as assistant property manager.

Peltzman has joined The Beacon at Gateway after spending two years managing an apartment community in South Portland. She brings more than ten years of experience in hotel management to her new role. As assistant property manager, she will be responsible for leasing, marketing and resident service.

“I’m thrilled to be a part of the new living experience that The Beacon is bringing to the state of Maine and to help people find the perfect place to call home,” said Peltzman. “Scarborough is seeing significant growth, and this type of community is a welcome addition.”

Construction on The Beacon At Gateway began in January 2018, and apartments are pre-leasing for later this year, with some floorplans already sold out for fall move-ins. Upon completion, The Beacon will become Greater Portland’s newest, most enhanced option for enjoying the Maine living experience.

The Beacon is being constructed right off the Maine Turnpike at Scarborough Gateway, just across from the Cabela’s plaza, an optimal location to access all that Maine has to offer. Residents will be mere minutes from the area’s best shopping, dining, beaches, activities, and historic attractions. In addition, The Beacon is in close proximity to the area’s main transportation hubs– The Portland International Jetport, Amtrak Train Station, and Ocean Gateway Marine Terminal – for business travel or exploration.

Once completed, the community will consist of 288 luxury apartments, including Studio, 1, 2, and 3-bedroom units. The spacious apartment homes are pet-friendly and will feature modern, premium finishes. Detached garages are available and luxury amenities abound, including a resort style-pool, fitness center, clubhouse, and business center.
