Plourde joins The Dunham Group

Bryan Plourde

Portland, ME According to The Dunham Group, Bryan Plourde has joined the firm as a broker/sales agent. Having spent the last 10 years as a commercial real estate appraiser at Maine Valuation Co., Plourde brings an invaluable skill set to the firm. With a decade of experience appraising over $1 billion and 5 million s/f of commercial real estate in Maine, he has a keen insight into all sectors.

Analytical and diligent by nature, Plourde enjoys helping his clients make smarter and more informed decisions when buying, selling, and leasing commercial real estate.

“The addition of Bryan checks a lot of boxes for us. He’s obviously a talented underwriter of com-mercial real estate value. But beyond that, he’s a trustworthy, pragmatic, and genuinely good per-son. We couldn’t be more excited that he chose our company to begin the next chapter of his pro-fessional career,” said Justin Lamontagne, The Dunham Group’s managing partner and designated broker.

“Over the years I’ve developed an appreciation for how commercial real estate impacts all those involved, and I enjoy applying my unique perspective to make for an efficient real estate process for my clients,” said Plourde.

Before his appraisal career, Plourde was a financial advisor with Morgan Stanley and Merrill Lynch in Boston, providing customized investment management strategies, including the use of real estate investment trusts, to business owners and investors, with over $100mm in client assets.

Plourde is an active member of the New England CCIM chapter, is a past committee member of the Maine Chapter of the Appraisal Institute, and is a candidate for MAI appraisal designation. Plourde is also the education chair for the Maine Chapter of the Foundation Fighting Blindness, the world’s leading private funder of retinal disease research.

Plourde lives with his wife, Natasha, and their two young boys, Alexander and Avery, in North Yar-mouth. In his free time, he enjoys golf, skiing, and spending time outdoors with his family.
