Greg Pond

According to Boston Realty Advisors, the firm has been retained by the ownership of 467-469 Washington St. in the downtown crossing district.
The building is currently occupied by clothing retailer, Porto Classico. The retailer vacates this spring.
The building is 10,760 s/f on three floors. Boston's downtown crossing is in the midst of a renaissance. The quickly redeveloping area also known as the Midtown Cultural District is experiencing a transformation. Two luxury towers are being delivered by 2009, while over 1,200 units of new housing have been created over the last six years. One Franklin, a new project developed by Vornado and Gale International in the former Filene's Building, is a 600,000 s/f redevelopment project. In addition to One Franklin, there are numerous new developments slated for the next 24 months.
Washington St. is the city's true "Main St." Retailers enjoy high foot traffic and strong co-tenants including Macy's, directly across from the subject property, Border's, H & M, Marshalls, TJ Maxx, City Sports, and more.
The building's ownership has retained renowned architectural firm Bergmeyer and lead designer, Derek Rubinoff on repositioning the storefront. The renderings and design have not been approved or filed, however, the ownership of the property will accommodate tenants to provide for their custom prototype.
Greg Pond of Boston Realty Advisors is the broker handling this property.
