Pro Con installs exterior panels for Renaissance Hotel & Spa at Patriot Place

The installation of the exterior metal panels is underway on the new Marriott Renaissance Hotel and Spa at Patriot Place. S & S Hotels, LLC of Manchester, N.H. is developing the four star, 150-room hotel & spa and Colwen Management Inc. of Nashua, N.H. will manage the resort. Pro Con Inc, of Manchester, N.H. is the architect and construction manager for the project, which is being financed by RBS Citizens Bank. The Renaissance Hotel and Spa anchors the stores, restaurants, and entertainment venues at Patriot Place and is adjacent to Gillette Stadium. "The 5-story hotel is bustling with carpenters, dry wall installers, and painters who are applying the interior and exterior finishes on all levels," said Pro Con's project manager. "The curtain wall windows have been installed in the hotel's public areas; allowing for amazing views of the adjacent Gillette Stadium, and the HVAC work is continuing on all floors." Pro Con Inc is working closely with the hotel's owner and the management company to ensure a successful project that is delivered on time.   The hotel's public spaces will include a 98-seat restaurant, a private dining room, a lounge with 60-foot bar and stone hearth oven, a flexible conference room, an enclosed business center, a club lounge on the 5th floor, fitness center, indoor pool and a full service spa with 14 treatment rooms that will offer facials, massages, body wraps/scrubs, nail care, and hair care.   Pro Con Inc designed the Renaissance lobby around Marriott's "great room" concept; to create inviting areas intended for relaxation, socializing and entertainment. The hotel is being built to accommodate a 100-room addition.   The Kraft Group is developing Patriot Place, which when complete, will include over 80 stores and restaurants, several entertainment venues including a 500-seat jazz club, a sports medicine and healthcare clinic, a 14-screen movie theater, and "The Hall at Patriot Place," the New England Patriot's Hall of Fame museum and pro shop, and the Renaissance Hotel and Spa.   Pro Con Inc began construction in the spring 2008 and S & S Hotels plans to open the Renaissance in the summer 2009.
