What was your greatest professional accomplishment in 2015?

Reestablishing transatlantic service at Bradley International Airport has been one of the core goals of the newly formed Connecticut Airport Authority, and the recent announcement of Aer Lingus service to Dublin, Ireland was a major achievement. The finalization of negotiations with Aer Lingus capped nearly two years of negotiations. While it was a long process, all parties are confident that this will be a fruitful endeavor for the CAA, Aer Lingus, and the surrounding region.

What was your most notable project, deal or transaction in 2015?

We made significant progress on the demolition of Terminal B at Bradley Airport. This project is the first step towards revitalized infrastructure at the airport, and it will lead to future projects that will provide a more convenient roadway system, consolidated rental car facilities with direct access to Terminal A, and bus service connecting the airport to the Windsor Locks train station. The CAA strives to provide best-in-class facilities, and we took great strides towards achieving that goal in 2015.

What are your predictions for commercial real estate in 2016?

A healthy Bradley Airport supports a healthy commercial real estate market. The reestablishment of direct transatlantic connectivity makes the region even more attractive for companies looking to do business in Connecticut. As Bradley Airport continues to grow and thrive, I expect that the nearby commercial real estate market will follow suit.
