Farmington, CT Quisenberry Arcari Architects, LLC of Farmington has changed its name to Quisenberry Arcari Malik, LLC. Tom Arcari, firm principal, said “The name change is intended to acknowledge and celebrate Rusty Malik’s long-term commitment and contributions to the growth of the firm.”

Malik, who joined as an ownership partner in 2010, has been directly responsible for several of the firm’s recent and significant projects.

These include Wethersfield High School’s $95 million comprehensive renovation, the renovations of Newington Public Schools’ STEM Academies, and the $38.5 million North Stonington Public Schools upgrade project. Malik’s efforts have strengthened the firm’s overall project capabilities and developed the education market.

The name change is accompanied by a new logo and new website, a brand refresh that better presents the firm as modern and evolving. “2017 has been a special year for the firm,” said Arcari. “We celebrated our 15th anniversary, joined forces with a noted Connecticut architecture firm, and are expanding our offices to a larger space in Farmington as well as a satellite office in Hartford. While the name change and brand refresh are first and foremost a celebration of Rusty’s achievements, our new visual identity better represents the firm’s steady growth to one of the largest Connecticut architecture firms.”

“We are excited about the future, and Rusty will continue to play a big part of it,” said David Quisenberry, the firm’s managing principal. “His dedication has directly contributed to the firm’s recent success, and our new name is reflective of that dedication.”
