Developed in the 1950s as the national headquarters of the American Guernsey Cattle Club, the five-story, 51,000 s/f Guernsey Building has long stood as downtown's largest structure, today serving as multi-tenant office space for a host of local businesses. With its trademark copper roof and brick facade, the building underwent a complete restoration in the 1990s and remains among the downtown's most visually arresting spaces. R.J. Finlay acquired the site, located at 70 Main St. from Nashua-based Vear Commercial Properties, Inc.
