The REFA annual golf outing, originally scheduled for June 10, took place on June 25th. Temperatures in the 90's with the sun shining, terrific golf and super networking led to a very successful REFA golf outing. The outing took place at Great River Golf Course, and like past years, everyone who participated enjoyed the day.

Paul Lamonica from Farmington Savings Bank was the big winner in the raffle drawing as he took home a brand new set of irons. This is the 2nd year in a row he has won this prize.

Like the last many years, proceeds have been donated to worthwhile causes and this year is no different. Habitat for Humanity seeks to build community and improve lives by partnering with low income families and community volunteers to build simple, decent, affordable, safe and efficient homes. Habitat welcomes people, regardless of faith, to build with them in partnership. The ultimate goal is to eliminate substandard housing in lower Fairfield County and Hartford County.
