How to Outperform the Market - Creating Opportunity & Value - March 25.
Join your REFA colleagues to hear from Michael Halperin of Contrarian and Mark Young of Torchlight talk about how to identify distressed assets, strategies to turn underperforming assets into opportunities, and knowing when it is prudent to invest more capital or to walk away. Moderating this program will be Jack Mullen of Summer Street Advisors.
Contrarian is a national investor and owner. Locally they are an investor in 50 Washington St. in South Norwalk. In business for 27 years, they have been nominated for several awards for the returns they deliver and are industry leaders in distressed properties.
Torchlight has been lending and investing in commercial real estate for 20 years. A provider of investment management services to institutional clients, they continue to achieve returns that exceed investor expectations. Their investment portfolio extends throughout the country.

Join your REFA colleagues to hear from today's top lenders as they discuss what they see happening in the finance markets. Mike Riccio of CBRE Capital Markets will moderate this lively, informative group of commercial real estate professionals, including Marjan Murray from People's United Bank, RJ Guttroff from Barclays, Joanne Adkins from John Hancock, and Raphael Fishbach from Mesa West Capital.
It will be held at The Society Room of Hartford, 31 Pratt St., Hartford from 7:30 - 9:30 a.m.
