Region Commercial arranges $2.7 million sale of Lowell church

Lowell, MA Region Commercial completed the sale of 180 East Merrimack St. for $2.7 million. All People Church acquired the property from Christ Church United in early December, 2025. Region Commercial worked on behalf of the seller and helped source the buyer, represented by Lamachia Realty.

The 28,800 s/f church property sits on 0.79 acres and has been renovated in recent years. The building features a beautiful large main sanctuary with stained glass windows and an upper balcony, as well as a rear building that includes additional gathering, classroom, and office space.

Its excellent location near downtown Lowell makes the property a central destination.

“We’re glad to have advised CCU during the disposition of their property,” said Ben Bolotin of Region Commercial. “The board and their members took phenomenal care of the church property in recent years with extensive improvements that will carry the property into the future for its new owners.”

All People Church, the buyers of the church property, have an existing location in North Reading and will be expanding their footprint in the coming year.
